When our surveyor visits your home or office, or when you show us your goods on a video call, we note the rooms, the furniture, appliances and special items, the floor and lift details and any access problems such as narrow stairs or society timing rules. We may take a few photos of large or delicate items so the packing team knows what material to bring. These notes and photos are used only to prepare your quote and plan your move. We do not photograph documents, jewellery, safes or personal papers, and we ask you to keep such items aside before the survey.
Information we collect on moving day
On the day of your move, our supervisor prepares a packing list that records each carton and item, its condition and the room it came from. This list is shared with you and signed by both sides at loading and at delivery. For vehicle transport, we record the vehicle number, make and model, odometer reading and photos of the vehicle from all sides at pickup and delivery. These records protect you and us if there is any question about the condition of goods, and they are kept with your booking file.
How we protect payment information
We accept payment by bank transfer, UPI, cheque and cash. We never ask for your card PIN, OTP or UPI PIN over the phone or on WhatsApp, and our team will never ask you to share them. If anyone claiming to be from Om Packers & Logistics asks for such details, please do not share them and call us on +91 9650117477 to report it. We keep payment records, such as transaction references and invoices, only as long as tax and accounting laws require.
